San Jose State beats Nevada 14-10

 Malik Roberson ran 35 times for 139 yards and Kenny Potter scored with 50 seconds left to lift San Jose State over Nevada 14-10 on Saturday night.
Potter scored both Spartans (2-5, 1-2 Mountain West Conference) touchdowns on 3-yard keepers - the first made it 7-0 with 11:20 left in the second quarter and his game-winner capped a 12-play, 84-yard drive that lasted 5 minutes, 55 seconds. San Jose State held Nevada from crossing midfield in the final minute.
Potter was 11 of 17 for 142 yards and Tre Hartley caught five passes for 76 yards.
The Wolf Pack (3-4, 1-2) took the lead at 10-7 on Tyler Stewart's 46-yard pass to James Butler with 6:52 left. Butler finished with 20 carries for 94 yards and three receptions for 92 yards.
Spencer Pettit's 28-yard field goal put Nevada on the scoreboard late in the third quarter.
